14 Sept. Terrace open
As our pizza evening last Sunday unfortunately fell through (in the rain), we want to make up for it this coming Saturday (14 September) with a solidarity pizza day.
We will open the terrace and the snack station from 2 pm with coffee and cake and from late afternoon there will be fresh pizza from the clay oven!
Due to the spontaneous rescheduling, we are still looking for volunteers. Please get in touch if you would like to help us out.
The donations from this day go to the Schwalbenthal Association and benefit the preservation of the Schwalbenthal and our historical and social work.
Building security completed
It’s done! After three intensive weeks, characterised by a lot of dirt, aching muscles, construction site focus and money withdrawal, the old Schwalbi is now fully equipped with orthoses. Now we’re looking forward to getting creative and making it cosy! Anyone who would like to actively participate or share ideas is cordially invited!
Terrace
Our visitor terrace has a small catering hut. Now we are getting the old little alpine hut back in shape! It needs a thorough clean after all sorts of four-footed creatures have been ‘up to mischief’ in it for a few years. The hut is to be opened for the first time on Monument Day on 8 September. There is still a lot to do before then.
We have also renewed the railing in recent weeks. Visitors can now comfortably lean over the railing again to enjoy the phenomenal view!
