Living vegan/freegan
We do not want sentient beings to be (tortured to death).
We see that the boundaries between “who belongs and should not be (so) tortured” and “who is outside of that” are, depending on the context, disturbingly easy to shift when we fundamentally agree that torture and violence are acceptable – just, of course, against the beings who do not belong.
Furthermore, the animal industry contributes significantly to climate change. It is entirely possible, here and now, to live healthily and comfortably without animal parts or products – but without a livable climate for all, nothing is possible!
